USITC institutes Section 337 investigation of certain extrusion-coated magnet wire

The USITC voted to institute a Section 337 investigation, Inv. No. 337-TA-1527, of certain extrusion-coated magnet wire, based on a complaint filed September 29, 2026 by Essex Solutions Inc. and Essex Solutions USA LLC, both of Atlanta, Georgia, and supplemented October 13, 2026. The complaint alleges infringement of certain patent claims by the importation and sale of the products and requests a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders. The identified respondents are Wellascent Electronic (Ganzhou) Co., Ltd. of Ganzhou, China, and Wellascent Technologies USA LLC of Grand Prairie, Texas.
