USTR's Greer questions U.S.-EU duty pause after European Investment Bank loan to Airbus
USTR Ambassador Jamieson Greer issued a statement on the status of the U.S.-EU deal to pause duties on certain EU imports, following a record-breaking European Investment Bank loan to Airbus. Greer said the loan, awarded to Airbus projects in France, Germany and Spain, came almost immediately after the EU extended the pause, and that USTR still has no details about it despite ongoing requests.
